Film program in Svaneke Bio
19.2 – 12.3.2025

February 19th we initiate our screening program VINTERSOL that over the first cold months of the year will rotate in Svaneke Bio. We have invited both local artists and writers as well as international friends of SOL to choose which films we will watch on the big screen. They have been granted total freedom of choice – everything from experimental avant garde to archival restauration to political documentary to blockbusters... Touching, provoking and thoughtful films that are important – film we had forgotten, and film we never knew existed.
The screenings are FREE and everyone is welcome. Seats will be given by order of appearance.
Every screening starts with a short introduction by the invited guest and ends with an informal converstation.
The program is curated by Sofie Amalie Andersen and supported by the Danish Art Foundation, The Obel Family Foundation and the Municipality of Bornholm.
